Lauren is a portrait photographer and mezzo-soprano, who has spent the last 6 years working with people (from opera singers to the medical and corporate worlds) to redefine the headshot, as well as the experience in getting them taken.

Lauren’s passion for photography began in high school when they were on the yearbook staff. She then took a break during college to spend time focusing on building and maintaining a successful career as a singer. Since the pandemic, Lauren has been gathering more (and more) gear, and is a much sought after portrait and headshot photographer in Philadelphia, and all around the country. She always has her camera, so if you happen to book a singing gig together, there may be time and space for a session!

There are too many horror stories about people’s experiences in photoshoots. No one wants to feel bad about themselves or uncomfortable while having their photos taken. Period. There’s no space in the studio for negativity or inappropriate behavior. Lauren makes it a goal to have a comfortable and fun studio environment while you work - you'll play music and generally just have a good time! 

 

It’s also Lauren's goal to capture YOU. Your self. Your artistry. Not a stiff or rigid rendering of you. Just, you. And you have many layers. You contain multitudes. So your session will try and capture that. All the beautiful complexities that make you the special human that you are!
